This Website is a NIJ-BJA funded "one-stop-shop" for law enforcement agencies and officers on how to select, wear and maintain body armor. PoliceArmor.org includes links to the NIJ body armor selection and application guide as well as the list of body armors tested and found to be compliant with the NIJ body armor standards. Additionally, the site provides information for chiefs and agency executives and highlights reports about officers who have survived potentially deadly assaults because they were wearing body armor.
